Tyre changers have traditionally always used 2 clamping cylinders to power 4 clamping ‘jaws’ (there was, in fact, a machine produced once that used just one cylinder, but needless to say it didn’t catch on).

When you want to be immersed in the product you are responsible for, there is no substitute for getting hands-on experience of the theory, function and manufacturing first-hand. That is exactly what we enjoyed this week when the U.K. team visited our parent factory in Correggio, Italy, for more in-depth training on the new 2026 ‘Gen P’ wheel balancer range.

I have worked through two very serious economic recessions, both of which had an undoubtedly negative effect on trade, but that came with a kind of ‘safeguard’ that countered the negativity.
