Giuliano debut at Mechanex – Just like ‘the old days’

Although all of the people and many of the garage equipment products certainly aren’t new to the UK market, the team at Giuliano Automotive UK made their first ever public appearance under the new guise at the recent Mechanex exhibition at Sandown Park.

Being seasoned show-goers, we knew what to expect and have watched the attendees and nature of their visits change massively over the last 2 or 3 decades. The advent of the internet, online videos, and modern media has all led to shows being perhaps less essential than they once were, and have subsequently become more of a flag-waving exercise rather than having a tangible sales outcome.

However, our expectations were totally exceeded when we enjoyed what the ‘G’ team on the stand described as being ‘just like the old days’! The quantity, and more importantly the quality, of visitors was encouragingly positive, with many of those actively attending actually looking to invest. There is no doubt our ‘Par-Move’ technology featured on the SX229 Pro tyre changer quite literally blew people away, with the result being so positive we even sold the unit off of the stand!

Our new ‘Gen P’ wheel balancers were also received with enthusiasm and, in general, this show gave us the high that we haven’t experienced from an exhibition in a long, long time. Credit to the organisers for putting on a great event, and we want to thank all of those that came to see us and congratulate us our new venture, It was humbling to receive such support, and we appreciate the encouragement we received in the way of new partnerships and customers.
