After ‘interviewing’ a host of AI ‘receptionists’, we just couldn’t find the right personality, and so it was a lightbulb moment from one of our team that led us to ask actor Anson Boon to become the voice of Giuliano Automotive UK which callers are greeted with when dialling in to our office. Known for his role as the petulant and volatile Eddie Harrigan in Paramount Plus’ MobLand, and for his performance as (there is a theme here) the petulant and volatile Johnny Rotten in Disney’s Pistol, it is fair to say Anson gives us the glamour we feel to be totally appropriate given such a star-studded range of tyre and wheel service equipment!

Due to start filming MobLand Season 2 next month, Anson joined a list of prestigious names including Clint Eastwood, Helen Mirren, Matthew McConaughey and Scarlett Johansson when he landed Best Actor at the Rome Film Festival last weekend for his new movie Good Boy, starring Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough.
