There is a type of customer that we come across day in, day out, who isn’t blessed with lots of available workshop space, doesn’t want to invest heavily, but also doesn’t want to make a mistake and buy something that won’t handle modern, difficult tyres fitted to large alloy rims simply because they don’t have space for something ‘all singing and all dancing’.
Actually, the Silver ‘Swing’ is a very capable tyre changing machine, but its automatic, side-swing design means it is strong, fast and kind to expensive rims without the room required from a typical high-performance model which usually requires space behind the machine.
The clever automatic side-swinging design can be set to move left or right, depending on your workshop layout (note: we recommend to swing to the right as you face the machine), but unlike traditional manually moved ‘swinging arm’ machines, this model is totally automatic, providing perfect set up for delicate alloy rims. The clamping capability up to 24” means it will handle the ‘exotic’ stuff, and it can even be fitted with our famous QX ‘Leverless’ system as an optional upgrade if required.
The ‘Swing’ is supplied as standard with our space-saving SP1 assist arm (shown in separate image). Likewise, the Giuliano P20 offers an almost paradoxical level of performance given its compact design!
3D Automatic Data Input, a host of advanced features, such as ‘FES’ (Fast and Easy Split – allowing you to hide the weights behind the spokes of the rim), a 4.7 second cycle time and +/- 1gm accuracy mean this matches up to machines 3 times the size, and 3 times the price!
Under the bonnet, the P20 uses the same software and hardware as the rest of our balancer range, we have simply managed to put it on a small pedestal and introduce proven ‘handspin’ operation in order to make it economical on both space and value. Don’t be fooled by it’s appearance, the P20 is a very capable balancer.
